Raw clay as a thermal insulator
Raw clay is available in various forms. Raw clay insulation boards can be easily applied to walls and ceilings. Natural, i raw clay panelshave a valuelambda(λ, represents the thermal insulation in relation to conductivity) of 0.132 with a resistance factor to the diffusion of water vapor equal to 18 (highly breathable). Some insulation products based onraw claytake advantage of the "breathability" and sound absorption of this material by adding more efficient thermal insulating components.
