How to cook seitan with oranges and black olives
The ingredients for 4 people:

  • 2 oranges
  • 2 tablespoons of rice malt
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 grams of baked black olives
  • Fresh ginger
  1. Wash the olives, pit them and chop them coarsely
  2. Pour the malt into a bowl then add the orange juice and a little salt
  3. Mix everything until the salt dissolves well
  4. Fry the olives for a few minutes in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil
  5. Add the seitan slices and cook them on both sides for a few minutes
  6. Add the orange juice and if you prefer also fresh ginger juice
  7. Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cooking liquid evaporates
  8. Serve hot

How to cook seitan with sage and lemon
The ingredients for 4 people:

  • 4 slices of natural seitan of 100 grams
  • 1 onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • A few sage leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
  • Grated lemon zest

The preparation:

  1. Cut the seitan as a stew
  2. Cut the onion and chop finely
  3. Brown the chopped onion with a drizzle of oil in a non-stick pan, then add the sage, seitan and mix with a wooden spoon
  4. Cook for about 6 minutes
  5. Add the soy sauce and apple cider vinegar and mix well
  6. Leave to cook for another three minutes
  7. When cooked, sprinkle the grated lemon on top
  8. Serve lukewarm
