Dry and chapped lips, natural remedies



Some people are prone to dry and chapped lips not to mention those annoying cuticles that, when pulled, cause pain and bleeding. Sure, one of the immediate remedies is to use cocoa butter but let's see other natural remedies for that dry and chapped lips. An important recommendation is not to get angry and not to eat the cuticles.

In addition to honey and butter, beeswax is a very effective product: for the preparation it is necessary to melt 5 tablespoons of wax in a pan on the stove and add 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil. When the mixture becomes a cream, pour it all into a jar. Application: when it becomes a solid substance, pass it on the lips every couple of hours to have an emollient and soothing effect.

Already in ancient times, frankincense oil was used to prepare cosmetics and masks to rejuvenate the skin and prevent wrinkles: now it has also been found to be an ideal product for dry and chapped lips.
For application, simply massage a drop of frankincense essential oil diluted in a teaspoon of wheat germ oil with your fingers.
Another oil that is very suitable for dry lips and skin irritations is that of the tea tree: for application, all you have to do is pass a few drops on the lips.

Among the natural remedies against dry and chapped lips we find menthol, honey, castor oil, aloe vera, even its gel to be applied twice a day. Another DIY preparation with natural ingredients is oil, milk and glycerin to be prepared in equal parts.
Another do-it-yourself remedy?
Pour a spoonful of olive oil, a spoonful of honey, a spoonful of aloe vera gel into a container then mix the ingredients and spread on the lips: you will have immediate relief! The pack should be kept for about 3 minutes. Remove everything with a cotton swab then apply some cocoa butter.
When choosing cocoa butter, make sure there are these ingredients: almond oil, olive oil and beeswax.

In addition to the lips, it is good to take care of the skin, always resorting to natural remedies: in nature there are many components, thanks to which it is possible to prevent and improve the onset of wrinkles.
