From this 2013, the energy classes, also called classes of energy efficiency, have decreased. The energy classes to greater electrical expenditure because household appliances that consume a lot of energy are now considered obsolete. Thus, the energy classes range from A to D (the energy classes E, F and G). Class A expands with categories energetic A +, A ++ and A +++. The consumption bands associated with energy classes vary according to the type of appliance.

Class D: from 120 to 140 kWh

The energy classes A +++ are charged but the savings in the bill are guaranteed, especially when it comes to appliances that must always be in operation (freezers and refrigerators) or highly energy-intensive equipment such as air conditioners. Consumption refers to a cooling capacity of 5.7 kWh, air-cooled:
Class A ++: 321 kWh
Class A +: from 321 up to 734 kWh
Class A: from 734 to 890 kWh
Class B: from 891 to 950 kWh
Class C: from 950 to 1018 kWh
Class D: from 1018 to 1096 kWh
